The founders are Karen & Tim Price of Pembroke.
Karen earned a Bachelors Degree in Animal Science from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and spent many years as a sales representative in the wholesale pet supply industry. She enjoyed the work because it allowed her the opportunity to work with manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers and consumers, all of whom loved animals.
Tim is a full time firefighter when he is not helping out with the daycare. He especially loves interacting with the dogs and is easy going with a
great sense of humor.
When they have any spare time, Karen & Tim enjoy spending time with their daughters, Katrina & Bridget, playing golf, going to the beach and playing with their Mountain Dogs, Yodel & Mulligan.
Our Facility
South Paws is conveniently located on RT. 53, Hanover, in the Building 19 Plaza.We have dedicated 1200 sq. ft. of our facility to a "cage free" training and play area where your dog can safely interact with our staff and socialize with our other guest dogs. We also have a 600 sq. ft. "yard" for the dogs to use to take care of business and get some fresh air. It is safely fenced in and no dogs will be let out unsupervised. In the event that your dog is having a "Bad Day" or simply would prefer some peace and quiet, we have 3 private rooms available.
Everything, from our entry way to our flooring to our furnishings to our toys, have been designed to provide a safe, clean, healthy and fun environment for your best friend. We really do know how much they mean to you. You can rest assured that every dog in our care is treated as if they were our own.
All dogs must be temperament tested and up to date on all vaccines before they can join South Paws. Some breeds may be restricted for insurance reasons.
